Dr. Patricia Rogers is a retired Army Veteran of 12 years, she spent 29 years in law enforcement, retiring in 2016 as a corrections lieutenant. Since retiring, she is the CEO of Unity In Service, Inc, Her zone of genius is an Event Coordinator for the past 7 years where she takes pride in setting a platform for publics speakers to speak and entrepreneurs to connect and build professional networks and increase their clientele.
Dr. Rogers has served thousands through the events that she hosts. She is a Visibility Strategist, Business Coach, Event Coordinator, and Social Media Marketer. She has received many awards and is an outstanding Women’s Prosperity Network & International Women Association member.

To be productive as an entrepreneur, you must love yourself enough to make huge investments, financially and physically. Self-love and care are a priority; you need more confidence in yourself and the products and services you provide to be beneficial to everyone.
Entrepreneurs are servants, and servants must have good positive energy, and energy comes from self-care in our diets, our minds, and even in the relationships we develop.
You are your business; if your foundation is not firm, your business will not make it. Statistics say that companies fail within the first five years.
Your passion must be so strong that you will not give up when you face challenges, financial burdens, disappointments, and things you cannot control, like the pandemic and other crises.
You will stand in challenging times when your disciplines align with your vision. First things first!

The Pandemic Shock … Answering the Call to Pivot
Cov-19 changed my life, and the effects of it blindsided me. On March 20, 2020, we learned that the pandemic had hit home. It was no longer just in other countries; Italy, Japan, and Africa, but was now in our back yard, the United States. Then it got closer and had begun affecting people within a 100-mile radius of where I lived.
I doubted that it was real at; first, I hoped that it would blow over, and all would be normal. After all, I had a huge conference all lined up for May 2020. I knew that this epidemic was real within a couple of weeks of its inception, and before I knew it, the entire nation was on lockdown.
My dreams of hosting my big conference had gone up in smoke. The pandemic was now affecting my livelihood. With the news about the widespread epidemic, I, along with many other entrepreneurs, had in-person live conferences already scheduled. Now that the pandemic attacked us, all live events came to a halt.
I felt like I was in a safe zone because I was praying that my event would last this pandemic phenomenon for the eight-week duration, but that was one of the prayers that God told me to “wait.” Where Do I Go From Here?
